Situated 10 kilometres inland from Portals Nous is the beautiful unspoilt village of Calvia. Founded in the13th Century, the tourist boom of the 1960s and 70s is what really put Calvia on the map. Today Calvia is a typically rural Spanish town of honey coloured properties tumbling over the landscape, set to the magnificent backdrop of the Galatzo Mountains.
